The former Sunlight Laundry in Sands End was converted into expansive mews houses with vast triple-height ceilings spaces. We aimed to achieve loft-style kitchens in an open plan layout to pay homage to the former factory’s heritage.
The high plinth used for the kitchen islands and the off-the-ground, set-back tall units creates a floating effect, while the white satin lacquered doors and the thin ceramic work surfaces highlight the minimalistic look in these artsy mews houses.
